OHIO NEEDS COAL COAL NEEDS YOU

Coal keeps Ohio's economy competitive. It is the backbone of the state's low-cost electric industry with close to 90% of Ohio's electricity generated from coal. Legislators and regulatory agencies who regulate the coal industry often do not understand how critical coal is to Ohio's economy. The Ohio Coal Association works with the state's elected and appointed officials to help them understand how important a vibrant coal industry is to Ohio's economic well being. We need your help to make our message heard.

They also receive our quarterly newsletter to help keep them informed of the issues facing our industry. At our annual meeting, exhibit booth prices are kept to a minimum to allow members to display their products, giving them direct contact with our state’s top producers.
